Volunteering With LAAN
In the state of Michigan, LAAN has been recognized for its comprehensive and effective volunteer program which utilizes approximately 100 community volunteers to assist in providing services to people living with HIV and AIDS. As the backbone of LAAN, volunteers are recruited and trained by LAAN Staff and veteran volunteers in key aspects of the position for which they are assigned. Volunteers must submit an application, complete a 30-minute interview with the Auxiliary Services Coordinator, agree to a background check, and sign a Confidentiality Agreement prior to being assigned.
